Disney Challenge Day 18

Day 18: Favorite Name

My favorite main character's name name is Merida. A) It sounds cool. B) It means one who has achieved great honor. C) It is something you don't hear everyday. My favorite villain's name is Maleficent. It sounds very evil and menacing and I like that. It just kinda rolls off the tongue don't you think? I love the new take on her story too.

Disney Challenge Day 17

Day 17: Best Eyes

The award for best Disney eyes goes tooooooo.........

Belle from Beauty and the Beast!
She such pretty eyes. A nice color and shape is what makes her come in first. Some of the eyes in Disney are just a little too big, but her's are a good balance between realistic and cartoonish. They also portray her emotion very well and are not just the same emotion throughout the whole movie.

Disney Challenge Day 16

Day 16: Favorite Singing Voice

There are a lot of good singers cast to sing Disney roles, but my favorite female singer is Lea Salonga who sings for Jasmine from Aladdin and Mulan from Mulan

and my favorite male singer is Zachary Levi who sings the voice of Eugene Fitzherbert (Flynn Rider) from Tangled.
Both singers are very talented and are great at making their character come alive by expressing the character's feelings through song.

Disney Challenge Day 15

Day 15: Favorite Romantic Moment

My favorite romantic moment is when Hercules and Megara are in the garden in Hercules. The two of them are just so cute and unsure of themselves.

Disney Challenge Day 14

Day 14: Favorite Villan

I have been waiting for this question. I just love the villans and it is hard to choose just one. I ended up having a three way tie between Hades from Hercules, Mother Gothel from Tangled, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
Each villan is unique in their own way, Hades is god of the Underworld, Gothel looks very harmless on the outside, and Ursula seems to be just a person who's job is helping people, but all want pretty much the same thing. Power. Hades want to take revenge on his brother Zeus for keeping him in the Underworld, Mother Gothel want to be eternally young and beautiful, and Ursula wants to take over the world with King Triton's triton. I also really admire how Disney has created very powerful women characters such as Gothel and Ursula.

DIY Hair Bows

So I go this idea from a Bethany Mota video and I just wanted to try it out. I love wearing bows in my hair. You can wear them with just about anything. I hope you enjoy this tutorial.

The first thing you need to do is gather your supplies. You will need some fabric of your choice, a ruler, any type of hair clip you would like to use, a hot glue gun and glue sticks, a pair of scissors, and a piece of cardboard to use as a gluing surface.
Next, heat up your glue gun.
Measure out a piece of fabric approximately 9 inches by 14 inches.

Then, fold the top down about one-third of the way.
Fold the bottom up so it is just below the edge.
Fold the right side not quite to the middle of the fabric.
Then fold the left side over the right.
Glue it down
Then let it sit for about 30 seconds to let the glue dry.
Pinch the center of the fabric to make the bow shape.
Then glue the places where you creased the fabric so it holds its shape without you holding it.

Measure out another piece of fabric to be the center piece of the bow approximately 9 inches by 3 inches.

Just like for the main piece, fold the top down about one-third of the way.
Then fold up the bottom edge almost all the way to the top and glue it down.

Wrap the strip of fabric around the center of the bow.
Glue it down and snip off any excess fabric.

Now you have your bow.
Lastly, apply some glue to the back of the  bow, press on your hair clip, and let dry.

Now you are all done! I made a second bow with some blue polka dotted fabric and I plan to wear one tomorrow. These are so incredibly easy to make and you can even make some for your friends as a gift maybe. Comment below if you think I should do more DIYs and what you would like them to be. I hope you found this DIY turorial helpful and you enjoyed it. Bye!
